"America’s history is written on the National Mall’s landscape."

The Trust for the National Mall is charged with helping to restore, preserve much of the “Reserve” area that encompass the park and its memorials. These areas include the Lincoln Memorial up to the Capitol Grounds, past the Jefferson Memorial, to the edge of Constitution Avenue that runs along the Ellipse, the Smithsonian museums and down to the National Gallery of Art.
